HS 102 recoil spring?
« on: June 17, 2011, 04:00:37 PM »
Does anyone make a spring or kit of springs that would allow using high velocity ammo in a High Standard model 102, instead of standard velocity ammo?

I know this is an old thread, but...................   ::)

IIRC, the reason for using standard velocity ammo in the older HS pistols, is fraame carcking - which IMHO a spring kit won't prevent.

I always thought it was the battering of the slide against the breech end of barrel? You may be right.
