This unlucky coyote tried to crawl through a racoon snare this morning. It was a 6" loop about 4" off the ground leading into a corfield. The dust was heavily packed with racoon tracks leading into the field so I blocked in the open trail with thistles and what I call watermelon sandburrs. I didn't find any coyote sign in the area, and was pretty suprised to see him hopping around when I pulled up this morning.
