nef sb2 ultra
« on: June 23, 2011, 03:26:26 AM »
Hi guys I'm new to the forum and the ownership of a nef rifle I picked it up at a gun show for $200.00 .I don't know if thats good or not.I took to the local gunsmith to have him look it over.He said he don't think its ever been fired. So anything you can tell me about it would be helpful.Such as accuracy, what bullet weight it likes, just anything you can tell me. Thank You  From 2Bearcubs

Oh, you are just gonna love it here! ;D, and, by the way, you are doomed :o; these are like Lays Potato Chips, you cant (have) just one..........
Spend all your free time for a couple of days reading the FAQs at the topbar of this forum, you will be glad you did.
BTW, good buy on that rifle.

Welcome!
You got a good buy.  Hope you have enough money, your going to be buying more Handi's.
BTW what caliber was it?

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

Welcome,
Ultras are(where) a bit nicer than std rifles.

What caliber did you get? Post a pic too!! Welcome to your addiction. ;)

Grab a fresh cup of coffee or a cold one and read thru our FAQs. Most, if not all questions will be answered from the information gathered there...

Well you have come to the right place.

Not just because we are a bunch of Handi-Junkies, but a bunch of good folks here too!

I'd say you got a good price on your gun.  More than likely you will get your money's worth out of it and then some.  In my experience, they are accurate and a very basic gun so tougher than most.  I have one and one on the way.  I have 3 other people that got theirs because they saw how good mine was, and are very pleased.

Let us know what caliber you got and maybe post some pics!

Good Luck!

Mornin Jim,
First off, you will do better posting in the N&R forums.. http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/board,126.0.html

Secondly, the FAQ's are easily searched. Using the "control F" key stroke. http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,26264.0.html

Firearms, like people have there own distinct likes and dislikes. That's not a issue tho as you get to shoot it to see what it likes!! Trigger time is a good thing for accuracy and experience with your new handi.

Are you a hand loader?
