Did you have to send the gun and them keep it until they are ready to work on it, or were you able to send a deposit and reserve a time?
I gave them a call and they said send the gun!
So I did with a letter telling them what I wanted them to do and a check for the total amount of the work and return shipping. Pretty simple and they are real good at returning emails. I haven't heard anything but good about them.
It cost me $90 to return the FA83 .454 to Freedom Arms after I finished the review on it
Well, the lady at UPS originally said something like $88!
Then she said let me see what I can do to make it less and came up with the sixty something.
I have heard that people take the cylinder out and ship it as machine parts but I'm not so sure of how legal that is.
