Former Alabama Governor Hurt on the Haul Road
« on: June 28, 2011, 12:40:16 PM »
Got this from today's paper.  Thought GB and all the Bama Folks might be interested.  I ride a bike, but there aint no way in the world you are going to get me to ride the Haul Road (Dalton Highway, other wise known as the Ice Road).  He had his wreck near my Bear Bait Station.  I drive up there every few days during baiting season.

Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Thanks for the info.  I heard on the radio that he would not be able to respond to a sub peona to testify against some folks accused of bribery. Did not hear why.  He was a good governor; worked hard. Glad to see he is having some fun, or at least trying to.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

Heard it on the news? Yes

Interested? NO

Why don't ya'll just keep him we really don't want him back. I REALLY don't agree he was a good governor and am sure he was as crooked as those now in prison. In time they'll likely get the goods on him and put him there also.
