We've all heard about being immortalized in film. What hot film babe born about 100 years ago do you find most attractive? I've always thought Wendy Barrie was a very beautiful woman and a fine actress. Her performance in Hound Of The Baskervilles is on YouTube.

I don't have any idea when she was born but as a little kid I went to see "Gone With The Wind" and couldn't believe how beautiful Hedy Lamarr was. I still start panting when I see a picture of her and I'm so old that deep breathing is work.

I don't think I had seen a picture of Lilian Gish before. Definitely a woman with timeless good looks. Nice to know that she had a good long life, living to nearly 100.

I remember hearing a radio story about Heddy Lamar, in her screen debut the audiences gasped when they first saw her on the screen, she was so beautiful.

Never was impressed by Judy Garland (Dorthy). Rita Hayworth, and Audry Hepburn, to me were the most beautiful women out of the old movies. Don't know if you guys know it, but when you see the likeness of the Statue Of Liberty on Columbia films, that is Rita Hayworth.

Back in those days they were not surgically enhanced, their beauty was real.

Not sure you can be a babe much north of 40 - witty, intelligent, lots of fun, yes - but babe means something else. I would nominate Jeanette "The Body" Mac Donald. She was in all sorts of shows as a singer and actress, raised tons of money for WW II and became a favorite of a young Ronald Reagan. She apparently slept around a lot and may have been married once, but always denied it.
I had a real pubescent thing for Mitzi Gaynor, who was in South Pacific. She stayed married to the same man till death did them part 52 years later.
Ingrid Bergman - YES. Catch her in Casablanca. You may never see Elizabeth Taylor looking better than in Butterfield 8, considered pretty trashy in 1959.
And let's not forget Lauren Bacall, only 20 when she became - er - involved with Humphrey Bogart. Sophia Lauren was a 10 before anyone ever heard of Bo Derek.

Of course, all the screen goddesses are made by a skillful Director of Photography.

I used to think BB was pretty hot stuff - check her out in "And God Created Woman " - and then I found out she was a real anti-hunting fanatic. I've got a privately-produced safari video where the guy just bagged an elephant (on permit), turns to the camera and starts taunting her. Priceless!!
