For years the blacks and latinos have had the world waiting at the front door to give them a free ride.

I know of white kids in my area that had much higher GPAs than most of the minority group but were denied a scholarship because of their race.

I work with two groups that give a scholarship each year, we ask for recommendation from the high school counselors, most often their recommendation is from the “minority group.”  (That doesn’t mean we always give to the one recommended.)

Where will this all lead to?   Next thing you know we will have a WET (White Entertainment Network) channel on cable, the United Caucasian College Fund and White History Month.    ;)

Does this network, deal with all water sports?  ::) Just funnin' I know what you mean.  Personally, I think that we should get rid of any application that asks about your race or ethnic group, and give scholarships, based only on grades or performance.

I remember years ago the city of Lou Ky was threatened by a troublemaker because there were no black sgts on the police force. They had a sgts exam for BLACKS ONLY. Thy all flunked the test, so they made the highest scoring flunker a sgt. Sure made me feel safer. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

When I retired from the AF back in 89 I applied for a job with the State Of Alaska for a prison Guard job.  Blacks and Native Americans were the majority of applicants and hires.  So whites were considered a minority by the State of Alaska.
