My 3 favorites are 32H&R mag, .32 Muzzleloader and 3040 Krag, The 225 Winchester was a lot of fun to work with when I had it and the 22-250AI is getting some work now. Kurt

My current favorite is 356 winchester and second is 22K hornet. Both fun guns. The 356 has a little brother,a 307 winchester which is also fun! All Handi's

Wow a 25 Remington!  That sounds like fun, but then many of the others do too.  I have thought about doing a 6mmAI on my 243 Win barrel, mostly to get the bullet closer to the rifling (it has a long throat which apparently isn't too uncommon with 243 winchester barrels).

I have long thought about the 225 as well. Simple fact is I don't use my 223 that much so don't have a need for more horse power in a 22 cal...  Sure the Zipper makes more sense as 30-30 brass is plentiful and 225 almost hens teeth. But something about the 225 holds my gaze. If I did "need" something bigger, I would build a 225 in a second! ;)

My favorate rechamber and rebore are the 223 to 257 Roberts and 223 to 6x47 both are tack drivers and easy to reload. Both have 24" barrels and reshaped stocks.

CW you can still buy new brass for the 225. I had a bit of a hard time letting mine go when I did as all the brass I had was vintage out of the WW Super X box. I probly should of paid more attention to the longer non lead bullets than I did with the 1-9 twist. But at the time I had light bullet speed glaze in my eye's.
Fred I have always envyed your 257Roberts with those custom stocks beautiful gun. Kurt

I agree with Kurt, Fred.  You have an awesome set of custom Handi's.  The 257 Roberts should have been a factory offering, it's that good.  Pretty darn close to the 25-06 in a 22" barrel.  Glad ya posted Fred. ;)   D

I haven't seen it offered in a long time! (Truth be told I haven't looked in some time either) Where have you seen it? I'll put some on the shelf for another day...;)
