I wonder if a queer even cares what a queer has done in the past? This is a case of politics gone perverse.
Queers or supposed queers will be found under every rock. If one of the founding fathers rubbed shoulders accidentally in passing of another and it somehow got printed, he will be outed as a queer by this group.

Why are humans the only mammal created that are attracted to their own sex? That should be a red flag to reasonable people. Same sexes can not physically reproduce. Another red flag. When men ovulate and women produce sperm then you may have a case. If you want to be gay, fine. Don't teach it to my child. If so, I should be able to have hunting, fishing, and eating game animals taught as well.  Also instruction on how to use a firearm. That should be taught by the parents? Personally I never gave this subject much thought until some of my cats (I have seven of them, all of which except for one are related by blood) started exhibiting homosexual tendencies. Some of the things that I discovered really surprised me and I will share some of those discoveries with you here. 

Many people consider homosexual behavior as being abnormal or unnatural, but are homosexual behavior really abnormal or unnatural? Certainly, from a Judeo-Christian perspective it’s abnormal and unnatural. Christians quote Leviticus Chapter 18 Verse 22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. They point out Romans Chapter 1 verses 26 and 27 that read, “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” They point out that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorra because of this homosexual conduct. From the naturalist’s point of view, on the other hand, homosexuality is quite normal.
The Bonobo Chimpanzees, one of our closest relatives, are bisexual and often use homosexuality as a way to resolve conflicts. They believe, like many of us did during the hippie era, in “making love, not war”. Among the Bonobo, roughly 66 percent of all homosexual activity is among the females. Female macaques form strong bonds with one another and are monogamists.
According to an article published in Medical Science News, male lions, the King of Beasts, often band together to lead their pride and they use homosexual behavior to strengthen those bonds. They make love to show and strengthen their loyalty to one another. The same article goes on to point out that heterosexual mating between dolphins and killer whales is a brief experience while homosexual mating between a pair of male killer whale can last for years.
Petter Bockman regrets that there is too little research about homosexuality among animals. “The theme has long been taboo. The problem is that researchers have not seen for themselves that the phenomenon exists or they have been confused when observing homosexual behaviour or that they are fearful of being ridiculed by their colleagues. Many therefore overlook the abundance of material that is found. Many researchers have described homosexuality as something altogether different from sex. They must realise that animals can have sex with who they will, when they will and without consideration to a researcher’s ethical principles (Medical Science News, 2006).” A good example of the overlooked and/or missed behavior that Petter spoke of is the mating behavior of the Giraffes where 90 percent occurs between male Giraffes.
Darwinist believe that animals only have sex to procreate but many experts through their unbiased observations have proved them wrong. Many animals not only spend their entire lives in same sex relationships, they masturbate for simple pleasure as well. According to Petter Bockman of the Norwegian Museum of Natural History, the Orangutans even make dildos out of tree wood and bark.

  It appears that many homosexuals aren't very selective either !  Remember, AIDS was originally GRIDS (gay related immune deficiency syndrome)..until liberal lawmakers for the first time in history, gave a disease "civil rights"..

xd40, you have never seen a dog copulate with its own sex. you may have saw the dog hump others after a lot of sniffing and picking up sent that will cause them to hump.
What an animal does is based on sent and instinct not pleasure. I have known where bulls have broken down fences to get to a cow in heat. That same bull will graze nearby and never look at a cow when she is not in heat.
Walk a bitch dog in heat by 5000 male dogs and all will chase her, not each other.

My family is well versed in veterinary science and all breeds from cat to baboon seem to stick with the opposite sex.  We have thousands of hunters here...... how many bucks on bucks or does on does? It would have already been reported.  Right? I tend to discount politically motivated experts. Oh, and ALL primates are animals, no relation to humans. Otherwise, why are they still primates? Just a side thought.

  Sidewinder has  a valid point (IMO)!  I attended a HS graduation a couple weeks ago where the keynote speaker went on to laude the "gay rights" movement.  This, within 24 hours of the passage of a homosexual marriage bill by some depraved state legislators here in NY State.  The local paper received a carefully crafted letter from myself...I received kudo throughout the week.  I also attended the graduation of a local Christian school, which was more upbeat and edifying.
  The keynote speaker at the Christian school did not waste time encouraging students to embrace a lifestyle which harbors more premature deaths, more suicides, more sexually transmitted disease and more personal misery by far than a normal lifestyle.
  Instead, this speaker encouraged the students to pursue the good over the bad choice, the decent over the depraved life. He reiterated exactly what any thinking person knows, that by clinging to honor and Biblical principles, a person will enjoy a much more complete and satisfying life while providing encouragement and help to his/her fellow man.
  Quite frankly, Sidewinder knows of whence he speaks. More likely the NEA members are deluding themselves concerning the aims of the NEA. 
   Who would know that union better than their chief legal counsel, who has served them for decades (as elected leaders came and went)..Look here, to see Bob Chanin explain that disruptions and demonstrations by the NEA are NOT for better education, in fact it is not "for the children"..but for POWER..power to exact more and more money and benefits from the public trough !
  Toward the end of his speech, he explains that it would be nice to improve children's education, prevent dropouts etc...but certainly NOT at the cost of forgoing any pay, privileges, bennies or "goodies".."that's just to high a price to pay"..  Here he is;

Maybe, but I think it's more a children's movie.  I watched it alot with my daughter when she was younger. She and I both enjoyed it. Alot of funny stuff. You may be thinking of " Run Away Bride."

What other group continues to produce lower quality results for over 30 years?? At the same time increases the cost of their failures by millions of dollars?? Do you know of a larger failures than the American school system and its teachers??   Why does the NEA pursue Gay agendas when American Math and reading scores fall behind other industrialized nations?? One reason, very poor students attend Liberal Arts Colleges where they can get a teaching degree.  This loop hole is a big part of the U.S. education problem.  The NEA is a big part of this poor college degree system as well.

     If as you say, you are fed up with what the NEA has become, it would seem that you are hardly alone.  Considering some of the stances they have taken, there must be many who are disgusted with where the NEA now stands.  For a person who is truly dedicated to elevate the educational level of youth, it must be disheartening to witness the pure greed and the twisted notions the organization endorses, while eschewing many traditional values which have made America great.
    That video of the chief counsel admitting.. "it's not for" the children, nor smaller classes, a higher graduating percentage, an improved educational system etc...but purely for political power, plus more wages and bennies.  Then to have the entire audience of perhaps thousands rise to a standing "O"; was an eye-opener for me and must have been for thousands of others, teachers included.
   In view of all this, how is it the NEA remains in the position it does, why has not an alternate, more moral and ethical organization arisen to challenge it ?

Ironglow- there is an alternative to NEA. It's the AFT. American Federation of Teachers. As to why a different teachers union hasn't emerged- that's an excellent question. I really don't know. I know in my state, if you want to belong to the local union and even the state teachers union- YOU HAVE TO BELONG TO THE NEA. Most of us wanted to support the local so whe had to be a member of NEA. It wasn't fair and we didn't like it. If some one knows how to start a better teachers union- there certainly are alot of teachers who will join. I'm thinking of the top of my head here and I'm comparing the NEA to the NRA. There are alot of flaws in both, but they have powerful lobbies that get things done for their members.
