LH build with Savage action

I would like to build something like a Savage Predator Maxfire 1 only in a LH 243. Where can I buy a blued LH action with the DBM or hinged floorplate? Northlander had some SS for $375 but not lately, nor has he listed any vlp dbm LH rifles for sale lately. I would prefer not to have to buy a rifle and try to sell the barrel. Most of the stocks for $200 or less don't come in left hand either. The Duramaxx looks better than the accu-stock but I would have to cut a new bolt notch and cut out the floorplate area.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I talked with Chris at Shaw rifles and they only use internal box magazines which I don't want. It isn't being ruled out because I could get a 243AI. He said Savage doesn't sell actions separately.
Could get a SS LH Savage in 22/250 and buy and convert a laminated Boyd's stock and 243AI Krieger barrel but than I've got $1000 tied up and only need one rifle anyhow.
I can't seem to win on this one.

I am in the process of doing a similar 243 lefty build. I went with internal box mag though. I joined savage shooters
Forum and was able to puck up the barreled action rather quickly. That would be a good starting point. I had to pay 12 to access classifieds but it paid off for me.
As far as the stock goes, I think it is hard to beat what stockade offers for the southpaw savage shooter. My current build is wearing my second stockade stock. Definitely check them out. Kevin makes a great stock.
Barring that, savage has a custom shop that can probably build what you want....

I'm glad I waited, because Savage brought one out in LH 243, 260, and 6.5 Creedmore. (and others). Now that the 6BR is a hot one, maybe it will be next. Savage really does listen, unlike Remington.
