My 13 year old son got his first coyote last week. I was on a special deer hunt so he went to his Grandmothers for a few days and took my home made CD caller. He put a white rag on a flimsy stick and called one in within 10 minutes. He was tickled. So was I.

I'm still hearing all about it. :)  He really thinks he can out hunt his ole man now. Most of the time he does   along with out fishing me. I can still smoke him on quail though  . I'm very proud of him. He is a good kid and any extra money (read my money) he can get his hands on goes for hunting and fishing equipment. Cant say that for many 13 year olds these days.
Just wish I could get him to stop calling me an old geezer. I'm only 36!!
