45LC 230 FMJ Load data
« on: July 08, 2011, 05:08:02 PM »
I am wanting to load some 45  LC  with hornady 230 FMJ  bullets.  I have on hand,  some H10, H86,  clays  and unique powder.  Does anybody have  a recipe?  I will be shooting out of a Ruger Red Hawk.  Thanks, Sam

Of those powders Unique would be about the most reasonable choice. I don't have an exact recipe but I'd be in the mid levels with that bullet, nothing to extreme. You should be able to easily find on line data from Alliant or interpolate some from your reloading manual(250 grn data).

Speer has data for the bullet.  Data shouldn't be hard to find.
