Here's a pic of my .223 Superlight barrel on a Survivor stock. Pic taken the first time I shot it over open sights with ammo I had around.

Can't quite make out the writing on the targets, but if I remember correctly the range was fairly close, like about 30 yds. The lines point to the aiming point for each ammo type, and the circles are where the bullets hit based on that aiming point. I was pleased enough with the store bought ammo and the fact that I actually hit the paper with every shot given that my eyes ain't what they used to be.  ;)

I haven't worked up any specific loads for it yet, but they are on my to-do list.  ;D And I'll put a scope on it when I shoot for accuracy, but in the meantime, its fun to play with.

I just happen to have a 223 Superlight also, only mine magically became a 6x45 (6mm/223) before I got it thanks to the great membership here!  ;D

I really like that setup.   I have the 35 Whelen with the same stock and forearm.  What kind of scope is that and are those the Burris Zee Rings.

Or maybe a Handi-grip!  ;D

Thanks! Scope is a Weaver 4x32 shotgun scope which has a 100yd parallax setting instead of the usual 50yds for shotgun scopes, mounted in low Burris Zee rings on a modified Weaver 92a base.
