I know what happened. When you own as many news outlets you deligate authority down to the people running each outlet, as he did. There was no way he could keep up with what each was doing, especially when they were keeping it quite, and denying anything asked about it. Yes he is ultamatly responsable since he is the owner. But he did what he should have done and fired the guilty people, and shut down the paper. Too bad for the workers that had nothing to do with what was going on. I have a feeling thisd was going on long before he bought the paper anyway. To him it's just business, he does not know the nuts and bolts of what is going on, he just knows the top line (profit margin) that's his concern.
