FFL worth it or not?
« on: July 14, 2011, 10:25:16 AM »
I have casually started to research what it would take to get a FFL. I have several questions for those of you who have them or have applied for them. Is the process really as strung out and complicated as it seems, and is it worth the hassel? Also do those application kits sold on the net really help or are they just "snake oil?"

If you are not planning to open a business with regular hours and have a place other than your home to do it then you're not gonna get one anyway. The days of getting one to get discounts on things you want are long since over.

had  mine since  1983

got  a zoning  varience  in  1984

they  will  look at you real hard  if you do gun shows  and  have  no store front

they  come  check me out every few years
i  expect them  to look at a ''kitchen table''  dealer  like myself  REAL  close
if  not.........they aren't earning  my tax  dollars.....its  OK  if they  ''profile'' me
for that  reason  i am  extra cautious  and study the  law  if there is anything  i am  unsure  of

every time  i am  up for renewal  wonder if its worth  it
or should  i just  get a few things  i always  wanted...then  give it up??

the  discounts  are  not that  big  for  us  small  guys
but  i can  use the  post  office
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP A DEMOCRAT
OBAMACARE....the biggest tax hike in the  history of mankind
free choice and equality  can't co-exist
AFTER THE LIBYAN COVER-UP... remind any  democrat voters ''they sat and  watched them die''...they  told help to ''stand down''

I was afraid of that. I have the place, but no intention of actually running a business, just ordering for family and a few select friends.

you  will need a sales tax  number too

they make sure you are in complience  with  all city ,state and county laws
not  just the federal laws

i know a man ATF wouldn't renew  until a building code violation was corrected

ATF  have  always  been very professional  with  me
ONE  MINOR CITATION  IN 28 YEARS....no   fine or nothing

best bet  is find  some one  that does transactions  cheap
and  shop the internet

i  only charge  $25  for trans actions.....barely worth it
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
