Tried by her peers in a Court of Law and not found guilty. Period. There are more important things to be concerned with IMO anyway.

Guilty!

Since she walked, I hope the state comes back with a civil suit suing her for the cost of the search for the child.  In my opinion the whole family should be part of the suit for their cover-up.

Nope, you don't call 911 for justice, you call 911 for cops.

Justice just isn't guaranteed a part or outcome of the system.
You can only get justice from God.  From DOJ you only get process.

Howdy! What is really sad is that there are thousands of families that would have taken that kid into their family if Casey Anthony would have just said that she did not want the kid anymore. Instead of attempting any other solution, someone (if not Casey Anthony) chose to kill that little girl. What a waste of human life!  Gene

I admit I've not followed the case as such things just really aren't of interest to me. But........the jury who heard ALL the evidence found her not guilty. I assume at least some if not all the folks on that jury were moms and dads. So if they after hearing ALL the evidence didn't think she was guilty why is it you guys are so convinced?

About all I have really paid attention to is that a rather long time went by before the child was reported missing. I don't know the why of that and admit that's quite strange but clearly the jury didn't find reason to hold her guilty of killing the child so why do you?

I think the prosecutions case was all based on feelings, no evidence, for crying out loud they could not even prove how the child died, let alone who done it.  She got charged with a number of things they could prove, but not murder.

She didn't report the kid missing for a month after she disappeared, and then when she was caught she told lie after lie about what happened to her baby. It might not have been the perfect case like you see on TV these days, but you don't have to leave common sense at the door to sit on a jury

Actually I am a fan of juries coming back with not guilty verdicts. The burden of proof is on the prosecution. I have seen toomany juries who put a lot of weight in "expert witnesses" and over zealous prosecutors. Our justice system was originally weighted in the favor of the defendant, this was done to give folks a chance to defend themselves from people who make a living off of convictions.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

There was a guy in lou a few years back, mel ignatow, who tortured and murdered an ex gf. The evidence was overwhelming, seems the jury was the only one who didn't know he did it, they turned him loose. A while later he moved and a guy that rented the house after him found a video mel had made of him and current gf torturing and murdering the girl. Couldn't charge him with murder again, dbl jeopardy. They found him guilty in a civil trial. Spent some time in jail then got out. I think he's dead now. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

As I understand the system, a not guilty verdict does not mean that the defendant isn' t guilty of the charge, it means that there is not enough evidence. There is a higher court that she will answer to. I wonder how long it will be before she faces that highest court?

I served on a jury in a capital case many years ago.  It was a real surprise to me.  You are instructed constantly about what you can an can not judge.  You are there to determine if the state has made a solid case against the accused. We found for the state and the defendant was convicted.  He was later released on a technicality. I found out  he had been convicted earlier of murder and was released.  ::)

I would rather see a guilty person freed than an innocent convicted.  You're only "free" for so long, then you got to answer to Him.  I don't know if she did it or not. The jury may have had more or less evidence than we saw.   I think it would be hard to put someone in the chair without any firm cause of death.  Do I think she did it? Probably, but I don't know that it was proven with a reasonable shadow of a doubt.  It's hard to prove "means" when you don't even know "how."

I'm betting that the statute of limitations is probably up for civil charges.

This that I do, I do by my own free will.

I don't know if shes guilty or not either. Unscrupulous lawyers and pantywaist judges are more to blame than most juries.Right and wrong never enter the picture, only what they can stretch LEGAL to mean. Money  talks, guilty walk. That seems to be the lawyers code. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
