White's MXT?

I have been wanting to try this hobby out for quite awhile.
The MXT seems to be a popular all around detector, although pricey ($720 delivered).
Will be trying for coins/jewelry at the local parks and beaches, but also want to try for gold in WA and ID.
Have some bonus money to blow, and the bills are all paid...
Anybody delt with http://www.kellycodetectors.com/ ?

Got my 3rd detector from them about 12 years ago.  As I remember they were really good to deal with.  I still get their newsletter about every other week and would highly recommend them.  They also throw in some extras like a carry bag, digger tool or other stuff.  Good luck and hope you find many 20 dollar gold pieces.
