I have fired plenty of lead bullet's out of my S&W revolvers and at
lower velocites they are fine. If you push them harder they wil
lead up the barrel, forcing cone and face of the cylinder. That I don't like abour Lead bullets.

If you want
the best of both Worlds being moderate price
plus no mess buy some
Rainier Bullets. They are copper flashed with a .0005" copper wash applied to the lead bullet. I have fired Thousands of Rainier's bullets and they leave
