The load is a 250 gr XTP over 26gr of H110 ( Just a hair above minimum in Hodgdon's data) in Win cases lit by CCI large pistol mag primers. OAL 1.605 with a lightish crimp. Now this load claims 1400 fps in a handgun, and I expected more from the 20 inch carbine, but my average velocity is 1755 fps with low deviations and excellent accuracy.

Could you please give me a reference where you found that load. I went through both Hornady's and Hodgdon's data for .45LC in both rifle (Hornady) and revolver(Hornady & Hodgdon). I found no loads whatsoever using H110 and 250 gr. XTPs. I found no handgun loads that came anywhere near approaching 1400 fps with any powder. The information must be somewhere. Anyone out there have any clues?Pete
but if'n I were working up another load now, I'd give Reloder 7 a shot or three! Tim
