Congratulations! from a fellow Eagle scout dad. Both my boys made Eagle, the oldest did it on his own, the youngest needed a push from his mom. He originally wanted to quit due to distractions (girls).
After college, when he went for his job interview, the interviewer gave him a cursory interview, then started to talk to him about his Eagle project.
Needless to say, he was happy his mom pushed him to complete his Eagle.
Remember, the Court of Honor for Eagle, also honors the scouts' family. Boast all you want, you and your entire family deserve it.
If he decides to enlist in the service. I was told by a friend (whose son also made Eagle in the same troop, and joined the Coast Guard) that they would allow him to enlist as a E-3.
