TM says they should have had other than Jews interpret the Dead Sea Scrolls. Fact is the translation team was made up of many scholars, some of them Jews. The team leader was not Jewish ! I said; "Some of the Jewish scholars dragged their feet a bit". Extrapolating that, the German, French, American etc scholars, did not share the same trepidation.
Do you realize the corner you have painted yourself into ? Over time you have said much of the new Testament is invalid, much of the OT is lies and the Dead Sea Scrolls are fake...
Most of the great scholars, universities and churches accept these as valid. If you are to remain credible, you MUST list your sources, since if one is to even consider that the authoritative sources I listed are wrong...you MUST come up with a source which is far more credible and believeable..

Otherwise it is simply.."because TM says so, that's why" ! You know and I know..that just won't get it..

Correct; the Jews are guilty of all those things..and they have been punished by God for their unfaithfulness to Him. They went into captivity 3 times ..and eventually were for the most part, ousted from their land. Even though God promised to return them to their land..they had to suffer persecution for nearly 2,000 years, capped by the holocaust. But God is as good as his word, they returned to their 'promised land' in 1948..and anybody who tries to kick them out, will eventually have to deal with the Great Jehovah.
You claim the Jews are guilty of the whole gamut of sins known to man..right you are. At some time there is a Jew committing one of those sins at any given time....but that is also true of Americans, Brits, French, Somalis, Chinese or Russians. In fact..correct me if I am wrong, but I believe these sins to be common with any race or creed. Are you perhaps implying that the "Palestinians" are sinless ? If they are not..then they rate alongside the Jews in the sin scene.
Sure, the Jews need Jesus..but the 'Palestinians'.... desperately need Him...

After looking at the post that started this thread, wonder how far Isreal could be ahead if they didn't have to watch their backs against muslim threats, live their live's, and develop new products. As well as manufacture current products. Considering the size and number of the people of Isreal, they do a fantastic job. When you look at how many more muslims and how much land they have, they could acomplish so much. And the only thing that comes to mind about the muslims is,the Scarecrows line in the Wizard of Oz. I suppose that the Palestinians would do much better if they had several Billions of $ thrown at them per year and a big brother that is ready to pound on anybody that even looks as much as with a frown at them. I'll mention the rather big lobby they could use in Washington and members of their "Team" sitting in many sensitive/controlling posts in the world plus having legislation passed which specifically favor them.

Yes; It sure is tragic that the Israelis have crowded their Muslim tormenters into that cramped, tiny GREEN area.... while the Israelis hog all that huge RED area all to themselves..

Just suppose those Muslims applied 1/100ths of the industry, labor, inventiveness, intelligence and genius which the Israelis have demonstrated....and put it into those green areas. They could have a very good lifestyle by now.. no excuse, except (Genesis 16:11&12)...

Back then, there was a sizeable portion oif Iranians who, listening to Ayatollah Khomeni rave against the west and promise everything...EXCEPT the reign of terror he brought in. To their own regret, they fell for it!
Can't blame them entirely though..the old ayatollah who brought in the torture chambers and reign of terror, also fooled some Americans, starting with Jimmy Carter followed by other simpletons who then took up Carter's chant. Shortly after Carter took their side in the fight, they turned against the sap and took our embassy staff captive. They laughed and giggled at Carter's entreaties and made him look like the sucker he is..until Ronald Reagan raised his hand to be sworn in..that moment on split-screen TV, we saw the airplanes taking off from Teheran airport, with the entire embassy staff aboard...ending 444 days in harsh captivity.
