Yes/No!!! :eek:   You are talking about two different diameter of bullets.  The 45 Win Mag uses a .452 diameter bullet whereas the 45/70 uses a .458 dia.  Your rechamber would require custom die set to size the case down to use the .452 dia. bullets.  Your best bet would be to sale/trade your barrel for 45/70
