Chris: I have a 10.5 yr old Standard Poodle who does the same thing. He won't jump for frisbees, and he's too smart to go chasing a ball (threw it three times for him when he was younger - he ran after it the first two times and then said - hay, if you want the dang thing go get it yourself. His older brother trained him too well) but he often jumps off the front porch or the steps or something and may wind up with a sore this or that for a couple of days but then he is fine. He had injured his toes a couple of times and has had swollen feet that cause him to lift them and pretend he has only 3 legs - that happens a lot during the winter when he gets snow packed into his paw - but it goes away in a day or so and then he is out trying to outjump his older brother (who is too smart to try jumping at his age). But, I agree with freddogs, if it doesn't get better within a couple of days, go see the Vet. HTH. Mikey.
