My brother is trying to get rid of a 1854 Springfield rifle and needs to find out what the value is. It's about 50-70% condition with some crud in the barrel that hasn't been cleaned in years with some rusting around the receiver(?), stock has some dings but still in fair shape.
Can anybody here give me a ball park price? TIA
