I read one the other day on a different Forum that I couldn't beleive ! Nor could I beleive the responces to it ! The title was ( Unsafe 25-06 load ) . This guy was starting out with 55 Gr. of IMR-4831 And he was supposedly using a Hornady Manual . Well that load wasn't accurate ( no mention of pressure signs ) So he goes on to say that he loaded 15 more rounds . 5 at 45 Gr. 5 at 35 Gr. and Five at 25 Gr. what in the world ! He didn't get that from any Manual , the max load for the 25-06 with a 100 Gr. Hornady and 4831 is 55.9 Gr. in my Hornady Vol. 4 Manual . So he's starting at the top and working his way backwards ! The responces he got were asking about twist rates and such nonsence ! Hell this guy is a danger to himself and anybody near him , when shooting his Ammo . My responce was that he needed to read the 96 pages before the reloading data or get a Mentor or better yet , both ! Now if I ruffled his Feathers , that's just too bad ! If I made him think , I accomplished my mission . He was going against everything that I've learned in 44+ years of safe reloading and I just had to tell him so !
