I wish I had kept my first Omega. Great rifle after I got it figured out, but sold it for an X-7. Nothing but problems with both of them (second was a factory replacement for the first). Got tired of fighting with accuracy issues/flyers and picked up a new old stock Knight Disc XT. Wow, never went back. It's a dirty beast, tho. I picked up a new Optima last summer from Cabelas pretty cheap and all I can say is WOW. Accuracy is outstanding and clean up is a breeze. The Knight might be a little bit more accurate, but both are capable of 200 yd clean kils and the trade off with clean up makes the Optima the go to now. There is no dirt on the breach side of the barrel and the new style "finger removal" breech plug is everything they say and more! Don't get me wrong on the accuracy, I'm talking 1/4" bigger groups at 100 with the Optima. The only thing I don't like about it is the light/hollow butstock makes it barrel heavy, although recoil is on par with the near 8# Knight. You won't go wrong with the Optima, and I've found that every post about it from Bigblock has been spot on!
