LimbSaver for thumbhole stock

Will the LimbSaver pad #10018 fit thumbhole and laminate stocks? Does anyone use a LimbSaver on their 45-70? Are there better options?

The 10018 prefit is made for a hollow synthetic stock, I dunno it you could cut the part that fits inside the stock off or not, best option would be to trace the butt and compare it to the master templates on their website, see the FAQs sticky above for recoil pad suggestions that may come close to fitting.

Thanks for the link Tim, I'll see if I can match it up. I just figured that since there is a huge amount of tinkering that goes on with handis someone had already made the conversion.
