Need value of Topper 158 12ga
« on: July 28, 2011, 11:42:03 AM »
I found a topper 12 ga 158 in the pawn shop. I am not new to NEF Rifles, but am new to the shotguns.  Is the 158 special or anything??  this is a 3" chamber and serial number starts with AL.  Any  input is appreciated.  Prolly can get it for 75.00+-
Thanks
Jeff

That may be a good price, dependent on the condition.  I noted that Walmart in Roanoke, Ala. had some new ones recently for $129.00.

I bought an out of box that had been handled, but was otherwise new for $85.00 recently.

Yes, but not the Model 158, it was made by H&R Inc who went out pof business in 1986. The modern Toppers are a step up from the Pardner which is comparable to the M158.
