Bees seem worse this year.
« on: July 30, 2011, 06:01:05 AM »
Not allergic but second time I’ve been stung this year, first was yellow jackets at my pistol range, they built a nest in the roof, and were not happy about me shooting the 45LC.
Then last week I was marking holes in the target at my Rifle range and the wasp had built a nest in the pipe that holds the truck mud flap, I got stung on the hand.
I read on another form a guy got stung on the chin at his bench, the guy posting said, as a kid he was not allergic to bees but now is, seems like a bad year for Bees stings. I now carry Bee spray and those sting easy applicators with me to the range.

a little WD-40 will knock a bee to the ground so fast it will not have enough time to sting you too

On one of the forums a guy was talking about brake cleaner working pretty good as bee killer, both time I got stung this year, I did not know the bees had built nest their, both of these ranges have been set up for 7 or 8 years, and this is the first year for bees on either.
