1ST 2 Dan Wesson's

I bought two 357 mag  DW'S yesterday for  $ 275 each . I think they are  model 15-2  and are in excellant shape.  Are these worth what I paid ??               FBC

I'd of bought them for that price for sure.

The current going rate for a model 15 in shootable condition is $350 to $400. so yes you done good.  If you want to talk to more DW lovers, go to danwessonforums.com.  Warning DW's are an addiction, at least you started with 2.  Congrats on an excellent score.

LOL FBC, what do you think?  ;) At those prices, you would have had to twist my arm for about 1/64th of a nanosecond before saying, "I'll take them!"  ;D You did really well.  :) Congrats!!

Bought my first 15-2 in Chatanooga in 1978... that was 7 DW´s ago.   Those are descent prices for a complet revolver.  Bought a frame about a year ago for $ 210 to build a 32.20 so you did just fine.  You will long & hard to find a more accurate revolver about.  Close up the cylinder gap to .0015 and snug the barrel nut tight.  DW´s were built to shoot fast (1-18 twist) so do not be surprised if low fps loads are mediocre accurate.
