I only wish! If I had it my way, I would use the M60 instead of a shotgun, but that's the only change I would make. That looks like alotta fun!!

Thanks, Dinny

I wonder what size shot?? Those porkers were big !!
That chopper would have been in trouble with a M-60 :o

Good shooting from a moving platform. He kept the shot around the head area on most pigs.

Before budget cuts Kansas used copter gunning to try to stem the influx of wild hogs from OK. Supposedly very effective.   An article several years ago in the Wichita Eagle I recall the gunner used  Benelli SBE's with I believe #4 buck, had three, two in the chopper and one being rebuilt. Looks like a good time for a good cause. Would be a great training exercie for close air support for our military I would think.

I lived in Kansas for a bit. If they had a hog problem, it is result of the State trying to hard. The hunters around the stated that I met would gladly take on some pigs. Heck they trained dogs to hunt and kill yotes, pretty sure they would do it for piggies as well. ;)

I do like Dinny's idea of the M60.

Don't wanna sound like a pansy, but that seemed like a waste. What gets me is, if you want to hunt them, you get charged big bucks, yet the same landowners cry about the damage they cause. Maybe government checks are involved.

My thinking as well and then some States require you to buy a license as an "incentive."
