Ranch Cellular Phone Reception
«

Hey all!
Just checking in and seeing how everyone else's phones work while hunting. It seems that the only carrier to get reception at my place is AT&T. Actually, that is only at the cabin. Maybe it's because it sits on the highest point but reception is crap everywhere else.
Anybody else come across this and has an amplifier helped or at least thinking about it?

Shooter,I've had the same reception troubles. However I've found that even with the spotty reception I can send and recieve text messages.Sometimes it takes a few tries to send one out but they do send.Just be sure to tell anyone you expect to talk with to send a text instead.

Since your place is close to mine we have the same issue. AT&T has a tower somewhere over there and that does get reception at my place. My Crickett phone gets reception about 7 miles or so away from my place, but not at the ranch, unfortunately.
