I have one of those around here somewhere, BSA AR4X32. It's not a bad scope for the usage you describe. It's Chinese made, 11 9/16 inches long, weighs 12.0 ounces and is parallex adjustable from 7.5yds to infinity. I also have the Bushnell Sportsman 4X 72-0004, also made in China and is one of the dogs of the industry. I've tried both the 4XAO and 3-9AO Sportsman and consider both unacceptable.
A worthwhile alternative would be a Bushnell Banner #71-4124 4-12X40AO. This is another great value in scopes. It is a Korean-made scope with good optics and good mechanics. Should be less than $90.00 at D and R and maybe elsewhere.
" Eventually I want to get a Burris fixed $4X or 6X AG scope but thats going to take a lot more saving."
Unfortunately, unless they've just RECENTLY re-introduced them, Burris no long makes their fine 4XAO and 6XAO compact scopes.
