It was an easy shot but I about killed myself the day before, marching up and down rocky hillsides, trying to figure out where they were. The animals had not been seen in that part of Zimbabwe for many years, but PH brought a few down to establish a herd for his conservancy. This is no doubt the last one to be lawfully hunted, as the "war vets", who call themselves comrades, put wire snares everywhere. Some probably bugged out, as they are very picky about their habitat. I was supposed to get a leopard on this trip and they had been hitting baits, but once the comrades overran the place, they never hit another one. It looked like the comrades hit a few.
