Well Nazis are extreme right-wing socialists and Communists are extreme left wing socialists. Ron Paul is neither. Americanism once stood for Capitalism and trusting in God (no one denomination, just a general acceptance of God as the almighty). It is all in the founding father's writings. Once God is left out of the majorities life and the nations life, greed takes over and the society become hedonistic and starts to break down. We made it through two world wars and a Great Depression, but since the 1960's America has forgotten God. In 1960 over 50% of Americans attended church at least twice a week. Sounds like a majority to me. No great society, no Federal welfare, no medicare, no medicaid, 85% of Americans had health insurance and only about 10% were below the poverty level. Only lingering problem was predujice, and our hippie generation threw the baby out with the bathwater and forgot God.
It is a good post & correct except for the first sentence, the Nazi's were the Nat. Socialist Party & leftist with all the anti-freethinking you would expect from their Communist cousins that they were at odds with, mainly because Hitler had his own goals & only Nazi's could be at the top in his mind.
Yes, taking the focus off of God is the main problem & has advanced enough that most don't understand that problem.
