I'm looking at buying a Heritage SA in .45 Long Colt for $399.  What has been your experience with these SA guns ?

My buddy has one and it's a pretty solid pistol.  I personally don't like the fixed sights and ended up getting a Ruger Blackhawk .45 colt/.45 acp convertible with a 5.5" barrel for only about 50 bucks more after some intensive shopping.  Mine is a lot better built and can handle whatever you put in her within reason.  ;)

If you have a Bass Pro Shop close they are having a sale on the Uberti 1873 Cattleman "Hombre". From my research, and experience with a rimfire Rough Rider they are pretty good guns. I have heard the Uberti are somewhat better, and the BPS sale price is $299.00 right now!
I'll probably pick one up this week. As I said on a post about the Uberti, I'm not looking for an adjustable sight, super accurate power house. I have that with my Ruger Super Blackhawk. I'm looking for a 45 LC Cowboy gun!
