:)  Howdy! Fall is fast approaching. What are your plans for hunting? Anyone going to hunt black bear? Deer? Turkey? Ducks?  Always, Gene

I had planned on doing some muzzleloader hunting for deer up in Rainey Brake but according to the AG&FC website my permit wasn't drawn.  >:(  I'll no doubt hunt some private land during modern gun season, and possibly go after pigs on a cuple of WMA's. I also hae a frien with 40 acres in MS but I don't know if I want to pay the non-resident license fee, it's pretty steep.
There's always the possibility I can buy an unclaimed permit in October.

Well, dove season was a flop.  I missed opening day due to attending a wedding in NC and by the time I got back, the doves had moved out.  Put the scope on my muzzleloader that has been off since a trip last year to CO and will need to shoot it a few times before I go hunting.  I might even shoot a doe for jerky meat this year.   We hope to work on the duck blind and decoys while it is cool.  Will head to WY mid Oct. for antelope but might get to bow hunt a couple of days here in AR before we leave.   I plan to rifle hunt here for deer unless I bag a couple with the muzzle loader.
