I missed the last local gun show, plan on making the one in Sept. Even if I don't buy anything, its fun to just go and look. I have found it kind-a hard to find good deals at gun shows unless you go the last few hours of the last day. I have tried to deal on a gun the first day, and dealers generally will not budge from their asking price, which is generally higher than what I think the gun is worth. A gun is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and most times, by the last day most dealers will agree to less than what they originally were asking.
Don't really know, but I think my guns would be one of the last things to sell in hard times. I guess it might be different for people with a large collection.
