Sales of US Baseball Bats Soar In UK Riots

Sales of baseball bats are up in the UK in the face of nationwide race riots.  Hmmmm....why would this be?   You'd think that people would buy guns  for self defense?   What's wrong with these people?

Better check the gun laws in England. 99% of the people arn't allowed to own one. I did just read thou, that because of pc, and the muzzies screamed so loud about having their ceramonial swords, that their out protecting their neighborhoods. Reminds me of the Rodney King riots in LA back in '92. Seems that the Oriental's in China town did a much better job of protecting their shops and business's than the LA police did. I remember a picture of a couple of them sitting on their roof with SKS's. Amazing what a couple of guys with semi-auto's can accomplish!! :D :D gypsyman

 Using that bat will no doubt get you locked up, hopefully after you recover from the beatdown you recieved from the rioters. :(  I am assuming strong language is still permitted in the UK. Perhaps we should airlift a supply of thesauris (thesouri?) to the helpless masses. :D

We should probably set up a little sting operation to make sure these bats arent coming from U.S. bat dealers. Operation "Swing for the bleachers" perhaps?

I don't think you can use strong language about the queen.   I have a hard time working up any sympathy for a country that keeps a queen and all those princes.
over here the parents of the bride usually pays for the wedding, but prince willie and kate had the benefit of millions of dollars of tax money.

In WW2 my uncle ended up on a tender after being burned while on the battle ship Mass. He was in the hospital when his ship sailed after refit. he ended up on the Perry. He said the Perry could take several ships along side and re supply or weld up holes in the side or other repairs. Anyway a British ship comes along side and both ships had men on the rail, seems trading was a big past time so one sailor on the Perry yells and ask if they had any cocoa. A britt yells back "the bloddy queen don't have no cocoa mate" So maybe some get away with strong lang and the queen  ;D

I'm not following you with that post. Those water cannons are in a turret on an armored vehicle. I don't think buck shot will worry them.

  From what I understand, according to the Brits on this and other hunting/shooting forums..they can have rifles & shotguns..with serious restrictions and a plethora of permits.
  The trouble is with LIBERALISM  which gets a person in trouble if they truly defend themselves and their property.  Many stories of farmers who got in serious trouble doing just that!  The Brits share some problems with us..many good people a ghreat country.. but a lot of politicians who have their heads in their posteriors.

There is a time and place for civil disobedience. I think most can understand that. (hopefully)
 From talking with a couple friends in England this was nothing more than looting spree. It started in the black community and spread. Makes you wonder how exactly the white community opressed them to stir up this kind of trouble. There was a shooting and the details are kind of fishy, this however is much more than a protest.
