.38,.357mag, 357max. Powder?

I would like to use the same powder for all 3 of these loads. Is that possible? I think 2400 will work for .38 &.357,with 158gr LSWC bullets, but is there a 2400 load for 357max, 158 gr bullets?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Robert

My Hornady 7th edition list loads with 2400 for the 357 MAX for the 10 1/2" Ruger Super Blackhawk but not in the section for the T/C Contender.
125gr bullet start 19.2 max 21.5 for 1800 fps.
158/60 gr bullet start 14.9 max 19.1 for 1600 fps
180 gr bullet start 15.0 max 17.0 for 1400 fps.
Hope this gives you something to work with. H4227 would be another powder that would work for all three but you are into +P pressure with either 2400 or H4227 with the 38 special.

I had a .357 Max Contender years ago. I'm not sure about the .38Spl but I think H110 will work in both 357 mag and 357 max

H4227 is good stuff. My current favorite for the .357 mag.
Not sure what kind of .357 Max you are shooting but I had a 16" T/C Contender. Its been a long time and I cant remember the charge or bullet weight but my favorite load was AA1680 and a Speer soft point bullet intended for the.35 Remington. I think it was a 200 gr bullet. I hunted deer with it but never got a shot. It did pretty good on the range though.

No one powder is ideal for any of these loads, but there are book loads available from multiple sources for Unique in the 38 and 357, I worked up from 357 loads for my max. I did not particularly like the results, but they were not terrible by any means.

Hodgon Lil'Gun and the Maxi seem to be made for each other. It works excellent in the Magnum also.
