I've got just under 3000 acres on the Wateree River in central South Carolina. This is private property which I own along with several others. We have some of the best wild hog hunting in the southeast and feed them at least 2000 bushels of corn each year from feeders. I really enjoy long range shooting ie. groundhogs, prairie dogs etc. but would consider just about any swap. Now is the best time of year to get in the swamp and move around safely. (no snakes or bugs). I'm open to suggestions.

You can come up here in ohio and I will take you out groundhog hunting for nothing except for your stay in a hotel.About may is the best time.I have a lot of land to hunt on

How about a moose,caribou,black bear,deer or Elk hunt?

I would like to take a 150 class whitetail and the hog is just for eating! Fall/Winter hunt for me. I hunt bear April 1st.

some bass fishing? I live in central fla where the big bass roam.
You may or may not bass fish but if you do you know that
from Nov thru march is the most opportune time to catch a wall hanger.
AS i was a Bass-Guide for years i know my way around central florida. My bass boat and tackle(if you don`t have any) are ready to go.
One thing about fishing in Fla you always have plenty of gators to keep you company and that makes for some great pictures/ cam shots.

Perhaps one day. Not gonna happen this year tho. Dunno about next. Will have to see. I've not been back to FL since we left in '58. Lived in Haynes City for a few months back then. Dad worked in pipe shops and all of them up here went on a protracted strike. He took a job with the one in Haynes City. I was in the 7th grade back then. We did a lot of fishing in the local lakes in that area, mostly for crappie which were then called specks by the locals.

I`m just east of Orlando. One thing to keep in mind( i`m sure you already know this) is the summer months are to hot to fish all day. Half a day not much of a problem. Fall is the best time with out a doubt.
