Baba Waba (her Saturday Night nickname by the late Gilda Raddner) has conducted tens of thousands of interviews, has met most of the highest rollers on the planet, and is a "recognized name" in the world of Media although in Reality, to you and me, she's just another Talking Head. She probably comes with a lot of "baggage" for any Media outlet willing to hire her - not the least of which is probably a huge price tag. The advertisers pay, which is all that TV really is, with the "shows" and "movies" thereon as filler between the ads.
What irks me is our Conservative Radio personalities, whom I like to listen to, but they all shamelessly and personally hawk any number of advertiser's products, which diminishes the quality of the broadcast.
