chop job on nice H&R
« on: August 12, 2011, 05:18:49 PM »
Mr. Moderator, I'm not trying to sell this, hope it's OK to post.

Just a sad, sad example of a chop job on an NEF shotgun. Note the rear sight, that's a nice barrel, and they cut the front sight right off.  I'm not even sure it's legal...they say it's a 20" barrel, but the overall needs to be 26"....maybe it is.  The things people do.
Not a bad job on the pistol grip though.

I kind of like it. But I like weird things ;)  I do like the  job on the grip.

As far as length. The reciever from the firing pin to the rear of the reciever is 3" and the grip looks longer than that section. I would say he is at 27" or close.

Probably an old tracker barrel. What a waste of a cool barrel. If it's legal I bet it's just barley so.

If it's legal it's legal... ;)  A inch is as good as a mile, or so they say.  :o  Always amases me why people critizise what some people do with their guns.

To each his own. I would like it probably it they had put a front sight on or used a regular 12ga barrel. Pistol grip shotguns have very few practical applications anyway. They are fun to shoot though.
