Those who have been around this board for a while know that our Own Artilleryman and his Loomis Battery was involved in creating the authentic sounds of cannon fire for the Movie Master and Commander.

I have laid hands on one, but wasn't able to inspect it real close. We were hoping ot have this guna the Cannon shoot next week but it doesn't look like that will happen.
Does any one have any information on these guns. Who built them? Anything?
