does anyone have one of these barrels? What would the use for this big of a round be. I don't know where you live, but where I live I don't see many dinosaurs.

I was thinking about getting one the same time I got my 375 jdj but could not find any bullets for it. and figured I I really didn't need something this big

Ricky, soon enough I'll have my .458 Win Mag bbl . Couldn't think of a reason I needed it either. But I told the wife some story that some day a rhino might escape from the zoo and I might be the the only one to save that family's pic-nic in the park. Trust me, it'll work as long as you can keep a strait face. :?

:)

I can get any barrel I want as long as I come  up with a way to get them with out dipping into the bill money.

In Maryland we don't have many critters that need something that big. But I could always use it for groundhogs when they go back in the din. that 475 should "dig" them out  just fine  :D

I have removed a few Prairie Dogs from their dens with my .375JDJ and 260 grn bullets. Sometimes they like to lay on the blind side of the mound out of sight. I just place a round at the hole and watch them flip end over end. It will also get those that just stick their nose out for a peek. Sure scares the H$%& out of the rest of the dogs.
