Can someone tell me the weight of their 28"Fluted Pro-Hunter with scope? I know there are variables but close is good for now. Perfect world a 7mm, composite stock, generic 3-9 scope. Thanks.

Hi, i just recently picked up an Encore,  though it appears (was used) to be a standard frame, it has the pro hunter barrel on it,

and a 3-9 Nikon, lemme go weigh it for you......on our crummy bathroom scale it seems to be coming in between 8 and 10 pounds,

mine has an energy burner thumbhole  synthetic stock, and is chambered in 22-250,  the barrel appears to be a bull(ish) barrel with
 fluting .

thanks,

L

28" ProHunter in .243, blued steel with walnut stock, 4.5-14x42 Burris, with strap-on black nylon cheek rest runs right at 9.5lbs.

Hope this helps.
