Like what i see on R7 Quiet accurate fun. (costly.) Need it for outdoor 15 yrd plinking. Quiet enough not alarm neighbors. It is rated 2 ( low noise) Any thoughts? Most airguns are 3 or louder(3 is moderate noise)

I've had one for about 15 years. Most pleasant spring gun I've ever owned. No big garage door spring in it to rattle the fillings loose from your teeth. Easy to cock, great trigger, high quality and super accurate.

I have an HW30s. Same gun mechanically. Mine has iron sights. The R7 package ( that I have seen) comes with a real high powered scope. Seems like overkill to me having 12 power sights on a mild shooting gun. If I put anything on it, it will be a red dot.

This is a tuned Beeman Xcel fired at night (when such noises seem loudest) recording was done on an iPhone with the phone in contact with the stock next to the compression chamber

The gun is a level 3 or 4 noise depending on the sight you check.
