Attack on freedom
« on: August 18, 2011, 02:37:23 AM »
The single most effective threat to freedom is Politically Correctness. In effect it attacks our way of thinking , way of dealing with every day living , way of expressing ourselves speech or otherwise and how we judge the ablity of not only our leaders preformance but common workers . Is this the way free men should live ?
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

That's silly, I think -  much bigger threats out there. .
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Silly, because... a much bigger threat is gov't prosecution for saying things the gov't doesn't like. For example... the fellow Fiorino who carried his Glock openly in Philly, completely within the law, and then found a mouthy, belligerent cop pointing a weapon at him and threatening to kill him if he didn't get on his knees. Then other mouth, belligerent cops showed up. All this is bad enough.

The real THUG in this affair, is the prosecutor - Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams. He's the one who is bringing charges of “reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct”—the vague sorts of charges cops and prosecutors often resort to when they can’t show any actual crime - against Fiorino in attempt to punish him.

Lot of that going around... state agents don't like to be embarrassed.

That's a lot bigger threat to freedom than 'political correctness' whatever that is.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

My point , I consider stuff like that all part of the PC movement. the PC movement is nothing more than behavior modifycation , in your example at gun point.
