Wealthiest politicians..
« on: August 18, 2011, 07:04:39 PM »
Roll Call has published the names of the 50 richest in congress.  Many are well up into the millions of dollars.  The reporter who compiled the figures says they are only "minimums" since their method of reporting is "foggy".  He believes that John Kerry (D.Mass) is actually the leader in wealth.
   http://www.rollcall.com/news/mccaul_leaps_top_50_richest_members_congress-208231-1.html?pos=hln

My main question.. Many of these folks claim to believe in "wealth redistribution".. there are millions upon millions of Americans who have much less money than they do...

If they truly believe in "wealth redistribution".. why do they still have all that wealth ?  Why have they not "redistributed" their wealth ?
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

The 10 most wealthy, are 7 Democrats and 3 Republicans. The flunky followers of these phoney friends of the poor are sooo blind. How would you like to be a poor tomato picker for John Kerrys Hienz Foods. It is like the Kennedys fortune made from whiskey.  Hell if I sold canned soup and whiskey I would vote more money to the poor..It is routed right to thier banks. Their followers are scolding Geo. Bush while they count their greedy dollars. ::)

I think if Richard Shelby ever decides to retire he'd jump to the top ten among that group. I think he has over $50 million in his campaign chest and Congress gets to pocket any left when they retire.

How did Kerry drop from the $5 billion he was worth a few years ago? Something is rotten in Denmark if ya ask me.

I thought they changed that rule and they can use the money for any other campaign but they do nto get to keep it as it was not given to them it was given to the campaign.

Something was said in the news about a big share Kerry's money being  Theresa's..

       But the question is, for those rich ones who endorse Obama's plan..and indeed for Obama and Soros themselves;

If you believe so strongly in "income distribution" why do you fat cats still have millions or billions..while others nearby are still so poor ?
Perhaps some resident liberals would like to take a stab at an answer for us !

Kerry's Wife is a Heinz as in the Ketchup people., Well, she married a Heinz who was a good semi conservitive republican and a trust fund of multi millions went to her.  (some how she did not pay the 50% over 600,000 on her estate)

Yes Kerry hid his sail boat in order to beat the taxes on it. These left wingers are in Washington getting tax breaks. They get the feeble minded to help them steal the wealth of the working class. ???

What exempt clause would we be forgetting ?

Actually, I wasn't speaking about any rules, laws or regulations.  I was speaking about the qualities of honesty, credibility and personal honor, when I asked why those so in favor of 'income redistribution' are still incredibly wealthy, while others living nearby are poor.

Why do they not 'redistribute' their wealth ?

I believe any answer they may offer... will only tend to expose their hypocrisy.

We need to have a sarcasm font or color or use certain brackets.  What is clearly sarscam from some can read as moronic dogma from others.  Or looks like the poster had a lobodomy or drank the coolaid of the left.
