Tamer 20 ga Stock Question
« on: August 21, 2011, 09:04:56 AM »
Can anyone tell me how the recoil is with a tamer stock on a topper 20 gauge? It looks like there is no recoil pad on this stock, but the pistol grip part should help eliminate some of the recoil correct. I like the extra storage spaces to store the shells and shorter LOP, I'm going to give one of these a try. I looking for some pros and cons for the tamer stock.

My guess is the recoil would be pretty stout. I took the stock off and replaced it with an adult size straight stock before I even fired a shot. I can carry 3 shells in my pocket. That stock is just too ugly for me
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

I agree. I replaced mine with a handi grip. ;) :)
